Home Protection Charm making

In this London-based workshop, you’ll learn all about home protection in traditional folk witchcraft. Drawing on the traditional sources that have inspired many historical British cunning folk, Kal will teach you several historical methods of home protection for you to use in your personal spiritual practice, including the guided creation and blessing of two clay charms.

Kal has been practicing traditional and folklore-inspired witchcraft for over 10 years, and enjoys bringing historical charms into his modern witchcraft practice. In this unique session, participants will get to make and enchant two of their very own clay protection charms to take home or carry with them.
The session will include an education in finding magical symbols from old sources used by Cunning Folk of the British Isles. Participants will begin by shaping and carving these symbols in clay, then learning about the sources of these symbols while the clay dries. To close the session, we will finish and enchant our new talismans with oral charms and blessed herbal smoke. The workshop is offered at The Hare And The Moon, Twickenham, on the 3rd of July 2025 at 6pm.
